Daniel Craig Teams Up with Rising Stars in Knives Out 3: Wake Up Dead Man

Rising stars and iconic figures are set to appear with Daniel Craig in Knives Out 3. The upcoming chapter of the Detective saga will feature Josh O'Connor and Cailee Spaeny sharing the screen with Daniel Craig, who is reprising his role as the ingenious detective Benoit Blanc.

The film, bearing the official name Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, is slated to commence production shortly. Although there have been whispers about Tom Hardy and Lindsay Lohan joining the cast, Craig, O'Connor, and Spaeny trio are the confirmed headliners thus far. While the storyline remains under wraps, the narrative seems poised to venture down a novel path diverging from its predecessors, 2019's Knives Out and the 2022 installment, Glass Onion.

Director Rian Johnson expressed his enthusiasm for the detective genre on social media, stating, "The aspect I adore about murder mysteries is their vitality and the broad gamut they cover, from Carr to Christie. Delving into this diversity through the Benoit Blanc mysteries is a thrilling aspect of filmmaking."

Recently, O'Connor was seen in the tennis-themed film Challengers, sharing the limelight with Zendaya and Mike Faist, and in the Italian drama La Chimera, acting alongside Isabella Rossellini. His portrayal of Prince Charles in the celebrated Netflix series The Crown earned him critical acclaim, securing an Emmy and a Golden Globe as tokens of his outstanding performance.

Spaeny's latest work includes lead roles in Alex Garland's Civil War and Sofia Coppola's biographical film Priscilla. She is also set to feature in the upcoming addition to the Alien series, Alien: Romulus.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is anticipated to hit the screens in 2025.
