Rocksteady halts Suicide Squad game server operations following a glitch that mistakenly marked the game as "finished"
This week marks the debut of several highly-anticipated games from the 2024 roster, including Rocksteady's much-anticipated return to the DC universe with the launch of Suicide Squad game. Unfortunately, an unforeseen glitch today prompted the developers to shut down the game servers just an hour following the launch.
Shared via a developer announcement on X / Twitter, the game servers are undergoing maintenance to address an issue where players were erroneously greeted with a completion message upon starting the game.
The studio is undoubtedly working diligently to resolve the issues promptly. They might also consider providing some form of compensation to those players who invested in early access and are currently unable to enjoy the game as expected.
